A conversation occurs when people cooperate with each other in order to introduce and sustain a single focus of attention by taking turns with each other. Conversation Analysis A major area of study in the analysis of discourse is conversational analysis. Conversational analysis looks at ordinary everyday spoken discourse and aims to understand, from a fine grained analysis of the conversation, how people manage their interactions.
